The Story
Ryan, widely known as “The Game Show Guy,” is a Video Production teacher at Rocklin High School in California. Before stepping into this role, he spent years as a Technology on Special Assignment (TOSA) and a social studies teacher, building a strong foundation in both education and innovation.
Driven by a passion for student engagement, Ryan created The Game Show Guy brand to bring energy, movement, and competition into classrooms. His ready-to-use game show templates are now used by teachers across the country, transforming traditional review sessions into exciting, interactive experiences.
Beyond the classroom, Ryan is also a podcaster and presenter. As the co-host of the “Check This Out” edtech podcast, he shares insights and ideas with educators, while also leading workshops and speaking at conferences nationwide.
His work and dedication have earned him multiple recognitions, including the CUE Gold Disc Award and honors as Teacher of the Year at both district and regional levels.
